Papua New Guinea sprinter Peter Pulu won his second successive Oceania Games 100m gold medal in Christchurch yesterday.
Pulu clocked an outstanding 10.66s into a blustery head-wind on the opening day of the Oceania championships .
No one else could match his pace, and yet he was disappointed he had not gone faster.
"It would have been better than that if it had not been for the wind," he said.
