Otagos Shaun Barlow was second over the line, almost 11 minutes in arrears in 1:22:10 but took the masters title while Jack McNaughton (1:23:10) finished third and first U20. Hannah Miller (Gore) was almost as dominant in the womens race, running 1:24:57, over six minutes ahead of Natasha Poole. Debbie Telfer was first masters woman in 1:39:36.
