Athletics: Vili second in Stuttgart

Aucklander Valerie Vili finished second in the shot put at the IAAF world athletics final in Stuttgart, Germany yesterday.

Vili's best throw was 19.64m and won her US$20,000. She was 17cm behind Natalya Khoroneko of Belarus, who won US$30,000.
