World women's shot put champion Valerie Vili will lead a 47-strong New Zealand contingent to the three-day Australian track and field championships beginning on Thursday in Brisbane.
Vili, who won the Australian titles in 2004 and 2005, will compete on Thursday.
Former world women's discus champion Beatrice Faumuina will be seeking to add an eighth championship title to her collection on Saturday.
