KEY POINTS:
Valerie Vili threw 19.02m to win the shot put at a Japanese international meeting in Shizuoka.
It was the second time this year that Vili has gone over 19m, coming on top of her 19.47m at the John Walker meeting in Auckland on March 24.
She has returned to Auckland to continue into her next phase of training.
Vili has yet to confirm her next competitions but they are likely to be in Bangkok on June 19 and New Delhi on June 23.
