Usain Bolt has anchored the Jamaican 4x100 metre relay team to victory in its heat to set up his farewell race at the World Athletics Championships in London.
The decorated sprinter will appear for the last time at a major championships in the final at 8:50 this morning New Zealand time.
Bolt told the BBC post-race that, "I enjoy relays more than anything."
When asked on his thoughts about his final race before retirement he responded.
"We'll see what happens. It's hard to be sad, the energy, the vibe here, it's been brilliant."
