New Zealand's world champion shot putter Tom Walsh has bagged another title on his European campaign, this time in the Czech Republic.
Walsh has won the Golden Spike event in Ostrava, producing a best of 22.16m with his third throw to see off Olympic champion Ryan Crouser for the second time in the space of three meetings this season.
It was the fifth time this year Walsh has won a competition by nailing a 23m-plus throw.
Poland's Michal Haratyk had made 22.08m shortly before to briefly take the competition lead.
Crouser leads their head-to-head duel this year 4-2, after taking two wins in the United States at the start of the northern season, including the Prefontaine Classic Diamond League title.
Walsh is now returning home to Christchurch for a short break before returning to Europe for the Lausannne and Monaco Diamond League meets on July 5 and July 20 respectively.
