Athletics: Snell gets foundation going

A $1000 cheque from Peter Snell is being used to kick-start the Lovelock Davies Athletics Foundation.


The money was given by Snell a few weeks after John Davies' death in 2003. The new foundation incorporates the Lovelock Foundation.


The new body will host a lunch and charity auction at the Heritage Hotel, Auckland, on November 24.
