Sam Rapson of Auckland won the senior 400m in 48.03s representing New Zealand at the Oceania Athletic Championships in Apia, Samoa.
Monique Williams of Tokoroa also collected the 400m gold in the open women's grade, recording 55.21s.
Sarah Saddleton cleared 1.75m to win the under-18 high jump and fellow Aucklander Nneka Okpala won the triple jump with 12.29m.
