Athletics: Not being Cathy

Olympic 400m gold medallist Cathy Freeman is considering leaving Australia for a few years to escape "being Cathy Freeman".

The queen of the 2000 Sydney Olympics reveals in her autobiography, released yesterday, that the pressures of her high profile have been "overwhelming".

"I'm considering living overseas for a few years just to take stock of my life and get away from being the public Cathy Freeman."
