New Zealand athletes have won seven gold, one silver and two bronze medals at the World Wheelchair and Amputee Games in Taipei, Taiwan.
Christchurch swimmer Sophie Pascoe won four gold medals and Cameron Leslie, of Whangarei, won three swimming gold medals as well as a silver. Kate Horan, of Wellington, won bronze in the 200m on the track and Aucklander George Taamaru won bronze in the powerlifting.
