Athletics: Medals in Australia

Monique Williams, of Tokoroa, won the Australian under-23 200m title in 24.67sec in Adelaide.

Johan Smalberger, of North, threw the javelin 63.28m to win the under-23 title and Keri Kendall, of Auckland, cleared 5.89m to win the under-20 long jump.

Graeme Read (North) was second in the under-23 200m, clocking 21.79s.
