Kiwi middle distance runner Julian Matthews won't sit still after moving a step closer to Rio Olympic selection.
Matthews recently posted an 'A' qualifying standard in the 1500 metres, but needs to wait until July to see if fellow hopefuls Eric Speakman and Hamish Carson also reach the mark he and Nick Willis have made.
Matthews says he'll continue to push himself through the American season training under Willis.
He says although he's hit the time, he's not going to sit back and let them challenge.
All three remaining hopefuls are training with Nick Willis on the US circuit.
