Top English distance runner Matt Smith is setting his sights on a win at this month's Auckland marathon.
An accomplished road runner, Smith won last month's Dunedin half-marathon, setting a course record by four minutes with a time of 1h 6m 38s.
Smith has represented Britain at four consecutive world cross-country championships. He moved to New Zealand from Britain earlier this year, setting up base in Christchurch.
