Three middle-distance runners and a race walker have been added to the final New Zealand track and field squad for the Rio Olympics.
Julian Matthews and Hamish Carson will join Beijing silver medallist Nick Willis in the men's 1500 metres - the first time New Zealand will have three starters in the blue riband event.
Alana Barber has been selected in the 20 kilometre race walk, while Lucy Oliver (nee Van Dalen) will compete in the women's 5000 metres.
Oliver ran the 1500 metres in London.
Nikki Hamblin will also race in the 5000 metres, having been selected in May to compete in the 1500, while Quentin Rew has been added to compete in the 20 kilometre race walk in addition to his originally selected 50 kilometre event.
