Eliza McCartney has narrowly advanced to the final of the pole vault at the World Athletics Championships in London.
McCartney has gone through by virtue of finishing in the top 12 qualifiers, falling short of even getting an attempt at the 4.60m automatic qualifying distance.
Her best effort was 4.50m, before failing to clear 4.55 on her three attempts.
