Eliza McCartney has broken her own national and Oceania pole vault record with a whopping effort at a meet in Germany.
McCartney has broken her old record of 4.85m with a best vault of 4.92m in Mannheim, winning the meet comfortably.
It's only a month since McCartney set her previous mark at the Diamond League event in Eugene, Oregon.
It is the second best jump of the year (behind Jennifer Suhr's 4.93m) and the fourth best of all time, with McCartney now only behind Suhr (4.93m), Sandi Morris (5m) and Yelena Isinbayeva (5.06m).
