Athletics: Desco tests positive

Italian long-distance champion Elisa Desco has tested positive for doping.

Desco failed a test following the world mountain running championships in Campodolcino in Italy on September 6.

She has since been withdrawn from the Italy team for the half-marathon world championships in Birmingham, England.
