New Zealand will not host an International Association of Athletic Federations permit meeting this summer.
Athletics New Zealand yesterday said this was due to a change in the IAAF's competition structure for 2010.
ANZ said its decision not to proceed with the Black Singlet Invitational meeting in 2010 was also driven by the high cost of staging a permit meeting which it thinks is no longer justified as well as the difficulty expected in attracting top athletes.
