Shotputters Tom Walsh and Jacko Gill will go head-to-head for the first time this season at the track and field nationals this afternoon.
Injuries have kept both throwers out of earlier meets this summer, but they're due to get underway in Dunedin just after midday.
There's also added interest in the women's 5,000 metres this afternoon, with triathlete Andrea Hewitt on the start list.
