Athletics: Aish finishes 25th in Marathon

Olympian Michael Aish was the best of three New Zealanders, finishing 25th in the Chicago Marathon yesterday.

United States-based Aish recorded 2h 24m 3s to finish 17m behind winner Felix Limo of Kenya. Craig Kirkwood of Wellington was just 2s behind Aish in 27th, while another Wellingtonian Matt Dravitzki finished 29th in 2h 25m 27s.

None was able to crack the Commonwealth Games qualifying time of 2hr 15min.
