Valerie Adams, who recently won her third world shot put title, won the Diamond League meet in Zurich overnight.
Adams threw 20.51m to edge Belarussian Nadezhda Ostapchuk by three centimetres. It was well short of the 21.24m she threw last week to win gold at the world championships in Daegu, South Korea, but enough to maintain her dominance over her great rival.
The contest was held at Zurich's main railway station in a bid to attract more interest.
Adams will compete in two more European meets this year before turning her attentions to defending her Olympic crown in London.
