Valerie Adams has made the shortlist for the IAAF's female Athlete of the Year award.
The double Olympic gold medalist and four time world shotput champion has been shortlisted alongside Jamaican sprint queen Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Czech hurdler Zuzana Hejnova.
The award winners will be revealed at the World Athletics Gala in Monaco later this month.
