Valerie Adams has continued her remarkable run of form by claiming her 53rd consecutive shot put win at the Diamond League meet in Monte Carlo today.
Adams took the win with a best throw of 20.38 metres, which was slightly under her most recent winning effort of 20.42 metres in Lucerne on Wednesday.
Germany's Christina Schwanitz finished second with a throw of 19.54 metres, while Michelle Carter of the USA came third with a best throw of 19.05 metres.
Adams will now head to Glasgow to compete in the Commonwealth Games.
