Three more athletes have been selected to represent New Zealand at the World University Games in August.
Max Smith has opted to contest the 1500m after posting 3m 41.64s over the distance in April. James Mortimer will compete in the 110m hurdles subject to confirmation of his eligibility. He set a New Zealand national record of 13.7s in March. Amanda King has been selected for the 3000m steeplechase after her recent time of 10m 16.99s posted in the United States.
They will join Monique Williams, Jessica Penney and Andrea Miller. More selections may be made before the games, in Bangkok from August 8-18. Agencies
