The hottest talking point over the sporting weekend was the controversial Crusaders penalty try in the 71st minute of their 45-23 win over the Chiefs.
Chiefs flanker Lachlan Boshier was yellow carded for taking out Crusaders and All Blacks midfielder Ryan Crotty in what was deemed a dangerous tackle, while also conceding the seven-points for the penalty try.
