The Volvo Ocean Race is currently in its sixth leg from Hong Kong to Auckland as MAPFRE lead the race with Kiwi sailor Blair Tuke on board.
The boats should be arriving into Auckland within a fortnight, with the boats facing some difficult weather conditions as the cyclone moves down through the Pacific.
ANZ Sport Scene caught up with the sailor as he talked about the highs and lows of his time on the water.
