The Halberg Trust is confident more people with disabilities will be able to take advantage of sport and leisure as a result of an initiative launched yesterday.
Halberg Trust Sport Access, a quality assurance mark designed to identify and enhance opportunities within regular sports clubs, was unveiled by trust founder Sir Murray Halberg.
Sport Access aims to encourage clubs and facilities to better meet the needs of all users when designing amenities, services and programmes, and to provide sustainable, inclusive sport and leisure opportunities for people with disabilities.
