What Pacific Island resorts do you recommend for a family holiday with young children?
Rarotonga is a great destination for families to relax and spend quality time. 20 minutes from the airport and you're sitting on a gorgeous safe swimming beach with a cocktail in hand while the kids are having the time of their lives enjoying the kids clubs.
Pacific Resort is one of the most popular resorts for families and caters for a multi-generational holiday very well. They have everything from self-contained family rooms through to 3 bedroom beachfront Villas. The kids club is the best on the island. Cafes, markets and restaurants are all within walking distance. For a stress free relaxing holiday overlooking the stunning Muri Lagoon, The Pacific Resort Rarotonga has it all.
Alternatively, Fiji has been catering for Kiwi families for generations. Denarau has become a mecca for families wanting a quick and easy break away from busy everyday life with a dash of Island culture. Being only 20 minutes from the airport and with a wide selection of stunning 5 star resorts catering specifically for families, Denarau is a perfect family getaway. From the marina you have easy access to day trips to some of the world's best tropical islands for something a little more adventurous. Plus, with over 20 restaurants at the various resorts along Denarau you will never go hungry.
The Raddision Blu is especially popular with Kiwi's, with the resort surrounding lagoon style swimming pools heated to 29 degrees. A water slide and an award winning kids club will keep the young ones occupied. All the Mod cons have been thought of with the choice of apartment style. 1, 2 and three bedroom suites with full kitchen and laundry, all with free Wifi. The perfect place for a stress free family holiday!

My husband and I are planning a holiday to Tahiti for 7 nights. What would you recommend to us?
Bora Bora is the most beautiful holiday destination. This is your quintessential picture perfect Island holiday with a gorgeous turquoise blue lagoon. It is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or for a romantic getaway.
The ideal place to stay is one of the 5 start resorts on the edge of the lagoon looking towards majestic Mount Otemanu. My favourite resorts are the Intercontinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa, The St.
Regis Bora Bora Resort, and the Le Meridien Bora Bora. Being a unique combination of French and Tahitian cultures the service and the food is exquisite. This destination offers fabulous water activities including diving, snorkelling, kayaking and jet skiing. For those desiring the more relaxed pace each resort features fabulous Spa facilities.
Travel to Tahiti will usually require a night or two on the mainland due to flight connections. Take this opportunity to visit the local markets and explore and enjoy the Tahitian culture during your stay.

I want to treat my husband for his 50th birthday, so what's the best place for a Pacific Island golfing holiday?
One of the best golf courses in the South Pacific is the extremely scenic Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course. Natadola Bay combines world class design and stunning Fijian landscapes all set against a backdrop of the Pacific Ocean. It plays host to the newest tournament on the PGA Tour of Australasia so your husband will be teeing off where the best of the best play. My pick for accommodation would be the beautiful Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa nestled on Natadola Beach. It's the perfect place for you to spend that special birthday. Why not treat yourselves and stay in the Club Suites. With their sweeping views over the Pacific, private plunge pools and access to the Club Lounge you're guaranteed a relaxing time.
Hawai'i is also a golfer's paradise with many amazing courses to choose from scattered throughout the Islands. One of the favourites of golfers worldwide is the Arnold Palmer designed course at Turtle Bay Resort on the northern shores of Oahu. As a Links course it offers all the challenges of sand, water and a jungle forest of pine set against the beautiful Hawaiian Coastline. The Turtle Bay Resort itself, has some of the most dramatic ocean views you'll find anywhere in the Pacific. With its casually sophisticated design it offers everything from Hotel Rooms to the Gold Standard Beach Cottages for the ultimate in Couples Retreats.
