The property housing Kahurangi Estate vineyard, one of Nelson's leading wine companies located in Upper Moutere, Tasman District, is on the market for sale and leaseback.
"The Nelson-based wine company is offering the property to potential investors with a long leaseback arrangement in place," says Ken Montgomery of Colliers International who is marketing the property for sale by negotiation with colleague Mike Laven.
"Kahurangi Estate Limited produces a range of premium wines for sale in domestic and offshore markets," Montgomery says. "It also undertakes contract processing for other wine companies and growers, and imports and distributes a portfolio of wine, port, sherry and cognac from a range of international and domestic producers."
The 12.884-hectare property, located at the junction of Moutere Highway and Sunrise Rd, is well-known to travellers along the popular Moutere Highway and claims 'the oldest cellar door in Nelson".
Montgomery says Kahurangi estate will enter into a new 10-year lease with the purchaser commencing on the settlement date.
