Subdivision popular

A waterfront residential subdivision planned for East Auckland consisting of 350 lots has proven popular. Spinnaker Bay, next to Beachlands on the Whitford/Maraetai Rd, is being developed in six stages by Spinnaker Bay Ltd. Consisting of lots averaging 1000sq m or more, the first stage sold in just over a day. The subdivision has panoramic views across the Hauraki Gulf to Waiheke Island. Karen Drinkrow, of Bayleys’ Howick office - who sold 15 of the 41 first-stage lots for between $180,000 and $250,000 - says the subdivision’s popularity is due to a lack of quality building sites in East Auckland. Ray White and LJ Hooker are also marketing the subdivision.
