The land and buildings housing one of Rotorua's biggest marine sales and service centres, along with a neighbouring row of commercially-operated terraced self-storage garages, is now for sale.
The corner property at Ngapuna sits on the intersection of Te Ngae Rd and Hamiora Pl, consisting of about 4721sq m of freehold land passed by more than 37,000 vehicles daily. Te Ngae Rd (State Highway 30) is the main arterial route east of Rotorua.
The bulk of the fenced and gated property is leased to Telfer Marine, at 236 Te Ngae Rd, Ngapuna, and houses multiple business activities. These include selling pleasure craft, running a workshop for outboard motors and operating a retail outlet selling parts and chandlery.
In addition, the Ngapuna property has 19 lock-up self-storage sheds — many of which are used to house vessels regularly serviced by Telfer Marine.
The property is being marketed for sale at auction through Bayleys Rotorua at 10.30am on August 8.
