Neville and Georgina Harvey know Ellerslie Court as owner-occupiers and as landlords.
"We lived in Apartment 27B for about seven years and rented out 25B," says Neville.
They bought 27B in 2005 and 25B in 2011, on level five, the penthouse level of the B block in the three-tower complex.
"We liked the generous size, that they are lovely sunny apartments and the security. They were well managed and had resort-type facilities for the three-tower complex, each with six top-floor apartments." The towers -- A, B and C -- have 77 apartments in total.
"There is a pool, sauna, gym, and a tennis court. If you love tennis, then you are in tennis heaven," he says. "And they are close to Ellerslie and the motorway."
The couple say 25B, now on the market, has a nice layout. The only change they made was repainting the interior.
The apartment has the entrance/hallway as you come in. Left is the bedroom and bathroom, or go straight ahead to the combined tiled kitchen (Smeg oven, dishwasher and Formica benchtops) and carpeted lounge with the door out to the balcony.
In the tiled bathroom are a shower, vanity, toilet, wash-tub and a wall mount space for washer and dryer. The apartment has tandem carparks underneath the A block, one under cover, one outside.
In summer the north-west-facing apartment gets sun from the early morning to around 5.30pm.

"As the apartment is so warm and sunny, the deck doors can nearly be left open most of the time," says Neville. "And being on level five you look over the tennis court. Then there are suburban bush/treetop views and in the distance is the top of the Sky Tower."
Generous sizing, top facilities, great location, top management and security set this apartment apart, he says. "We have a great building manager, Edward, and an excellent owners' committee working with him."
Also they enjoyed living in Mt Wellington, liking the flat terrain that makes it easy to walk and bike around the suburb.
They have now sold apartment 27B and have been renting out the one-bedroom apartment 25B at $360 a week.
They say Ellerslie Court has about 60 per cent owner-occupancy and think this apartment would suit a single person or a couple. "Retirees if you want to keep fit and play tennis," says Neville.
They are selling because the tenants, who have been in the apartment for two years are moving on.
"Being close to retirement, we decided it was time to sell and let someone else own this nice apartment and then consider our next 'adventure'. Maybe a 90-day round the world boat trip.
"But we will miss our Friday night drinks with other owners, and homemade pizza.
"It is a good-value, secure apartment, and the body corp fee is reasonable."
