In a deal brokered by Shoneet Chand, Ryan De Zwart, Matt Prentice and Euan Stratton of Colliers International, a 2896sq m freehold multi-tenanted commercial property, with 1697sqm net leasable area at 171 Target Rd, Wairau Valley, earning $215,277 per annum has sold at auction for $4m representing a yield of 5.38 per cent.
Silverdale vacant site
A 7095sq m vacant industrial site on Highgate Parkway, in the Highgate Business Park development in Silverdale, has sold on the market for $3,440,000. The deal was brokered by Jimmy O'Brien and Ryan de Zwart of Colliers International's North Shore office.
Glendene industrial
An 887sq m industrial building on a 2187sq m site at 4 Bancroft Cres, Glendene, has sold with vacant possession for $1,550,000 through Bill Lissington and James Hill, Bayleys Auckland. It has 800sq m of warehousing, 87sq m of office and 10 carparks.
Riccarton retail and office
A 1770sq m, four-storey retail/office building at 116 Riccarton Rd, Christchurch, has sold at auction for $3m. The sale was brokered by Mark Macauley and Will Franks of Colliers International.
Onehunga bare land
A 493sq m vacant bare-land site at 4 Newsome St, Onehunga, zoned Mixed Use, with a height limit of 21m, has sold after a Bayleys Total Property auction for $725,000 through Tony Chaudhary, Janak Darji and Amy Weng, Bayleys South Auckland.
East Tamaki auction sale
A 7099sq m freehold industrial site has sold at auction for $5,650,000. The sale of 9 Bostock Place, East Tamaki, was marketed by Paul Higgins and Greg Goldfinch of Colliers International.
Canterbury University property
A 5900sq m property at 7-15 Kirkwood Ave, Christchurch, with a 2630sq m building newly converted to a student hall on lease to the University of Canterbury, has sold at auction for $6,030,000. The sale was brokered by Courtney Doig of Colliers International.
Northcote industrial site
A 3238sq m industrial site at 24 Kawana St, Northcote, has sold on the market for $3,323,000 in a deal brokered by Matt Prentice and Shoneet Chand of Colliers International.
Albany warehouse
Prentice and Chand also teamed with Mike Ryan of Colliers International in marketing an 1134sq m industrial warehouse at Unit 2, 52 Arrenway Drive, Albany, which sold at auction for $3,030,000.
Boutique Christchurch offices
A five-level Miles Warren designed 914sq m boutique office building on 682sq m site overlooking the Avon River at 61 Cambridge Terrace in the Christchurch CBD, and partly occupied by five tenants paying $189,672 per annum, has sold for $2,285,000 at a Bayleys' Total Property auction through George Phillips and Angela Webb of Bayleys Christchurch.
Taupo bar and restaurant
A 501sq m freehold property at 22-26 Tuwharetoa St in Taupo, housing a 307sq m bar and restaurant, was brokered by Simon Clark and Mark Rendell; and referred by Kate Desbonnets of Colliers International, to sell at auction $1,250,000 representing a yield of 6.8 per cent.

Tirau and Te Aroha sales
Two Waikato properties have sold at a Bayleys Total Property auction in Hamilton. Six retail units totalling 500sq m and an 80sq m flat on a 1058sq m SH1 site at 15-17 Main Rd Tirau, sold for $540,000 through Alex ten Hove and Mike Swanson. In Te Aroha, a 983sq m building at 164 Whitaker St on a high-profile 1474sq m corner site opposite the clock tower in the commercial precinct, sold mostly vacant for $505,000 through Josh Smith.
