Avondale site sold to developer
A 2.02 ha Business 6 site at 32-38 Patiki Rd, Avondale, with flagged contamination issues and various older style industrial buildings and workshops, was sold to a developer for $2.5 million by James Hill, Sunil Bhana and Mike Houlker of Bayleys Auckland.
Big Whillans third quarter
Whillans Realty Group has completed $140 million in sales in the third quarter of this year. In a team effort, a 4082 sq m Countdown supermarket constructed in 2013 on a 1.26 ha site on the corner of Lincoln Rd and Universal Drive in Henderson, was sold to Oyster Property Group for $20.2 million representing a 7.3 per cent yield.. In August Henry Thompson and Kathy Ying sold a 4.06 ha Mixed Use zoned vacant development site on the corner of Hobsonville Rd and Brigham Creek Rdfor $16.15 million or $397 per sq m. Thompson teamed up with Bruce Whillans to broker the sale of the 1.64 ha Aeropark Carpark and Aeroparks carpark business at 112 Pavilion Drive, Airport Oaks for $5.7 million or $348 per sq m. The sale included 682 secure on-grade carparks and dual street access.
