Unisys House sold

Unisys House, 650 Great South Rd, Auckland, has sold on behalf of Stride Property Ltd to Maat Consulting Ltd for $31.8m reflecting 8.2 per cent yield. Brokered by Bruce Catley and Jonathan Ogg of CBRE, the building has a lettable area of 8335sq m, with 299 on-site car parks.

Tiny sale

In one of the tiniest central Auckland sales of the year, an 8sq m basement level unit used as building manager's office in the Freemans apartment complex at 10-12 Beaumont St has sold for $100,000 at 7.7 per cent yield through Matt Lee of Bayleys International Division. It has a 35-year lease from November 2005 to the body corporate with two-yearly rent reviews to CPI.

Maunganui Rd

Two adjacent commercial buildings on freehold sites at 297 & 301 Maunganui Rd, Mt Maunganui, with a combined NLA of about 200sq m have sold for $1.8m by Duncan Woodhouse, Simon Clark and Richard Findlay of Colliers International. The sale price represented a yield of 3 per cent.

Mt Eden character

A fully leased, two-level 993sq m character building on a 1376sq m site at 293-305 Dominion Rd, Mt Eden, has sold for $5,250,000 at a 4.21 per cent yield, through Alan Haydock and Damien Bullick of Bayleys Auckland City & Fringe division. Occupied by six retail and office tenants, with considerable land at the rear of the property currently used for parking but with future development potential

Riverhead industrial

A 8,700 sqm industrial property at 1, 5 and 9 Forestry Rd, Riverhead, has been sold for $1.6m by Ryan de Zwart and Jimmy O'Brien of Colliers International.

A 710sq m freehold commercial/industrial facility at 27 Shirley Rd, Papatoetoe has been sold for $1m by Jeremy Barnett, Matthew Barnes and Todd Kuzmich of Colliers International.

Food building

A 2868sq m specialised food grade industrial building at 74-76 Leonard Rd, Mt Wellington, with high coverage of its 2595sq m site, has sold vacant for $3,680,000 through James Hill, Sunil Bhana and James Valintine, Bayleys Auckland.
