Marketed as "the last big greenfield commercial land-holding left on the North Shore within the Interplex Business Park in Mairangi Bay", a 9325sq m freehold corner site at 87 Apollo Drive, is for sale by auction.
The property is being sold through Matt Prentice, Mike Ryan and Andrew Hiskens of Colliers International on behalf of a private investor and will go under the hammer on November 3, unless it is sold prior by private treaty.
Prentice says they expect the property to appeal to developers and owner-occupiers. "This is a chance for an owner-occupier to design and build a large-scale office and warehouse complex on a prime corner site close to motorway access, cafes, restaurants and gyms. The size of the site means it could easily accommodate a building area in excess of 4500sq m - a scale which is rarely seen in this area."
Situated in two prominent roads, Apollo and Orbit Drives, the level site forms a functional pentagonal shape with road frontage of more than 130m. The property backs on to a reserve, ensuring the neighbouring green space will be preserved.
"The business that chooses to make 87 Apollo Drive its home will be rubbing shoulders with well-known names such as 3M, Billabong, Ingram Micro, Makita, Ripcurl, Korbond, Burger King, NZ Post and Pearson," says Ryan.
