ABC Business Sales is marketing the g.a.s. service station business for sale within leased premises in Pauanui pointing to the Coromandel's surging tourism as one of its key assets.

Broker Shaun Khanna describes Pauanui "as a beautiful purpose-built holiday lifestyle community, which is sure to engage some would be purchasers of the business".

Pauanui lies across the harbour from Tairua and features New Zealand first canal housing development, Khanna says.

"Charter and fishing boats operate from the Pauanui wharves and the beaches are perfect for swimming, paddle boarding and surfing.

"Long renowned for its laid-back, holiday atmosphere - the Coromandel is rapidly becoming something of a business hot spot."

Khanna says the g.a.s service station comes fully equipped and is well set up with multiple income streams.

The service station itself dispenses fuel in excess of 500,000 litres per annum; the shop sales are strong as they include meat from the local butcher, bait and tackle, dive tank refill and a full automotive section, he says.

"The service station is open seven days a week and has a well-stocked cafe, producing great takeaways such as sandwiches, pies, cakes and their famous crock pot meals, which are a big draws among the local tradies and often the local rendezvous point with all the food being made in house by an on-site chef."

Khanna says another integral part of the business that is easy to manage and run, is bike purchase and rentals.

"This is very popular and is a well-established stream of income that has been producing phenomenal results.

"Bike repairs and servicing are an option for the new owner, with the current vendor happy to provide full training prior to possession."

He says the multiple income stream g.a.s. service station is in a great location, with loads of potential.

"A buyer could increase the sales and profitability by adding in their own flavour of business and become a local down in relaxed Pauanui," says Khanna.
