CB Richard Ellis' property management team's inaugural Walk for a Wish event has raised more than $24,000 for Make-A-Wish New Zealand. More than 30 walkers took part in the 10km event. Across Australasia more than $131,000 was raised by CBRE offices.
Coca Cola centre
The syndication of Coca Cola's lower North Island distribution centre through a proportionate ownership structure has closed oversubscribed. Mike Houlker of Bayleys Real Estate, which marketed the offering on behalf of syndicator Commercial Investment Properties Ltd, says there was strong interest from around the country in the 78 proportionate $50,000 interests which were offered with a projected initial return of 9 per cent per annum. A total of 41 investors, from Northland to Canterbury, invested in the offering.

Harcourts has begun an extensive search for a new chief executive following the internal promotion of the former national CEO Bryan Thomson who was in the position for eight years and remains a shareholder. Harcourts International managing director Mike Green says Harcourts is looking for an outstanding professional with exceptional skills and a strong track record of success.
$5.7 million retail unit
Brian Caldwell and Daryl Devereux of Bayleys North Shore have sold Unit A at 9-11 Link Drive, Wairau Valley, for $5.7 million at an 8.6 per cent yield. The 2540 sq m single level bulk retail building has 54 car parks and has a lease to Farmers Trading that is nearing its end.
Ridge Plaza shop sells
Unit L at 100 Don McKinnon Drive, Albany, comprising a 323 sq m vacant retail unit in North Ridge Plaza shopping complex has been sold for $1,244,000 by Damian Stephen and Rosemary Wakeman of Bayleys North Shore.
