Jason Woodyard of Barfoot & Thompson, Pukekohe, has sold by auction a Caltex Service Station on a corner site of 2023sq m in Mill Rd, Bombay, for the estate of FJ Newbery to a private investor for $1,112,000, a 6 per cent return. Woodyard was also involved in the sale by auction of the Pukekohe ASB bank on a 407sq m site at 4 Hall St, for $1,210,000 for a 6.4 per cent return, with a new 6-year lease of $77,700pa.

Units sold in Albany
A 446sq m industrial unit with five car parks in Bush Rd, Albany, has been sold vacant for $500,000 through Matt Mimmack, Bayleys North Shore and Harold McCracken, Bayleys Auckland. A 143sq m Albany office unit with five car parks in Rosedale Rd was sold vacant for $526,000 by Stephen Scott and Richard Moors of Bayleys Albany.

Te Awamutu sales
Andrew Shaw of Bayleys Waikato has sold 61 self-storage units and a property containing a stand-alone commercial tenant, BEC Diesel, on a 3444sq m site in Te Awamutu's Benson Rd industrial area, for $980,000 at a 10.2 per cent yield.

A single-storey professional office complex of a 150sq m dental surgery and a 210sq m doctors' surgery in Swanston St, Tokoroa, sold for $400,000 at a yield of 9.9 per cent through Brendon Bradley, Bayleys Tauranga.

Richard Laery of Bayleys Manukau has sold with vacant possession, for $616,666, an older style warehouse and showroom on a unit title at 42A Lambie Drive, Manukau.

Marty Roestenburg, Bayleys Manukau, sold for $450,000, for the mortgagee, a 2ha vacant former Montana winery at 221 Scenic Drive, Titirangi.
