Around the block: Harcourts in Westgate

Harcourts' multi-office franchise Hobsonville Realty Ltd has opened an office in Auckland's Westgate Shopping Centre. David Cattanach, an experienced realtor with more than 25 years' experience, says establishing an office at Westgate is a strategic move that will complement his company's existing branches in Hobsonville and Greenhithe. Greenhithe retail unit

Unit 5 at 6-8 Greenhithe Rd, Greenhithe, a new 218sq m retail unit with an eight-year lease to Greenhithe Café, has been sold for $840,000 at an 8.2 per cent yield by Christina Heaven and Caleb Belling of Bayleys North Shore.

With tenants on Tonkin

A 939sq m retail premises with a variety of tenants and some vacant space at 20-28 Tonkin Drive, Sunnynook, has been sold for $968,000 by Damian Stephen, Brian Caldwell and Michael Block of Bayleys North Shore.

Money from the bank

Mark Pittaway of Bayleys Manukau, has sold a 398sq m National Bank building on 1562sq m site with 28 carparks at 19 William Roberts Rd, Pakuranga, for $1,650,000 representing a 7.3 per cent yield. The bank has a three-year lease from July 2009, with one three-year right of renewal.

East Tamaki industrial

A 1540sq m vacant industrial building comprising a 1262sq m warehouse and 278sq m of office space on a 3044sq m site at 32 Zelanian Drive, East Tamaki, has been sold for $1.43 million by John Bolton and Katie Wu of Bayleys Manukau.
