Michael Greer, commercial property broker with Barfoot & Thompson's city office has sold a showroom retail outlet at 52 Carr Rd, Mt Roskill for $850,000 to an owner-occupier. The new owner is Giles Carpets which will operate its carpet retailing business from the new location. The property is 815sq m with warehouse storage at the rear and showroom space at the front with parking for six cars.
Dominion Rd retail sale
A 174sq m building at 1001 Dominion Rd, Mt Roskill has sold for $680,000 at a 7.04 per cent yield through Nicolas Ching and Vivienne Lee of Bayleys Auckland in conjunction with Tony Chaudhary of Bayleys Manukau. The single level building is occupied by a Chinese restaurant and a travel agent on four and two year leases, and is on a high profile 225sq m site on the corner with Mt Albert Rd.
Bishop's Coffee Bean
Ching has also sold Unit J10 at 2 Bishop Browne Place, in Bishop's Gate business centre at Botany South for $720,000 at a 7.5 per cent yield. The 148sq m unit is occupied by the Coffee Bean cafe on a five year lease with rights of renewal for a further 10 years.
Hub Hunting & Fishing
A 1400sq m retail building in The Hub bulk retail complex in East Tamaki has been leased as a Hunting & Fishing New Zealand outlet by Geoff Wyatt of Bayleys Manukau. The premises, formerly occupied by furniture retailer Redpaths, have been leased for six years with graduated rental increases over the term of the lease starting at $200 per sq m.
Habitual Fix leases
Gourmet food and salad bar Habitual Fix has leased 80sq m of retail premises at 128 Broadway, Newmarket for five years following the signing of a deal negotiated by CB Richard Ellis retail broker Nilesh Patel.
