Salespeople from the Auckland region have taken out seven of the top 10 spots for Bayleys' leading commercial and industrial salespeople for 2009/2010. James Chan was the top Auckland performer of the year and was second nationally behind Mark Hourigan of Bayleys Wellington office. Others to make the Top 10 were David Gubb, Mike Houlker, Alan Haydock, Michael Pleciak, Cameron Melhuish all of Bayleys Auckland, and Tony Chaudhary of Bayleys Manukau.
Ex-Asian supermarket
A vacant former Asian supermarket building on a 3288sq m site with difficult access at 327 Great South Rd, Manurewa, has been sold for $800,000 by James Chan, Nicolas Ching, and Quinn Ngo of Bayleys Auckland.
Cambridge self storage
Cambridge's newest and largest self-storage complex, comprising 108 units totalling 1380sq m on a 2458sq m site in the Aotearoa Industrial Estate, has been sold for $1,130,000 at a 10 per cent yield through Andrew Shaw and Mike Swanson of Bayleys Waikato. The pair were also involved in the sale of a 10 year-old 70-unit 864sq m storage complex on a 3452sq m security fenced site in Otorohanga's main industrial street of Progress Drive for $650,000 at an 11 per cent yield.
Rotorua industrial sales
A 672sq m 1990s industrial building, comprising a 587sq m high-stud warehouse with multiple roller door access plus 85sq m of offices and amenities, on a 4046sq m securely fenced site at 184 View Rd, Rotorua, has been sold vacant for $625,000 by Mark Slade of Bayleys Rotorua. Slade also sold a vacant 610sq m 1970s industrial building on 559sq m at 8 White St, Rotorua, for $385,000. The building has 412sq m of high stud warehouse, 162sq m of office and amenities and 35sq m of mezzanine space.
