A refurbished 1246sq m three-level office and retail building on a 723sq m site at 475 Mt Eden Rd with WSD Financial (NZ) as the anchor tenant on a new six-year lease has been sold by Tony Chaudhary of Bayleys Manukau for $2.67 million at a 9 per cent yield. The property has one rear office and two retail tenancies on the ground floor, first-floor offices and secure basement parking for 15 cars.
Newmarket mixed use
A 300sq m mixed-use building on a 438sq m site with four car parks at 4 Roxburgh St, Newmarket, has sold for $1.17 million through Scott Kirk and James Were of Bayleys Auckland. Evenly split between office and warehousing, it was sold to an owner-occupier at a 5.3 per cent yield on an expiring lease.
Small Shore office sales
Bayleys North Shore Commercial has sold vacant smaller office units in Albany. A 130sq m ground-floor unit with four car parks at Apollo Drive sold for $432,500 through Stephen Scott and Garry Barclay. Christina Heaven sold a 119sq m unit with five parks at Constellation Drive for $362,000 and John Parry-Crooke sold a 75sq m unit with four parks at Canaveral Drive for $360,000.
Manurewa commercial site
A commercially zoned site of 1006sq m on the corner of Maich Rd and Beatty Rd in Manurewa, has been sold for $450,000 by Tony Chaudhary of Bayleys Manukau. It is occupied by a 1920s 117 sq m bungalow, producing $300 a week from a residential tenancy, plus a vacant dairy and a storage shed. There is a resource consent for the suite to be developed into four shops and three flats.
Little Lincoln retail
A retail outlet of just 10.6sq m in the Lincoln North Shopping Centre in West Auckland has sold with vacant possession for $58,000 through Nicolas Ching of Bayleys Auckland.
