AMP Office Trust is delaying release of its annual result because, it says, two events could have an impact - a High Court challenge, starting next Monday, over its $171 million PricewaterhouseCoopers Tower on Auckland's waterfront and the impending sale of the Parkroyal Wellington, valued at $55 million.
Trust executive manager Robert Lang said: "We want to announce as soon as possible, but it makes sense to wait."
The result had been due out on August 16.
The court case is set down for four days, with a fifth day in reserve.
Mr Lang said deliberation would take from one to three weeks.
The trust has tentatively scheduled the end of the month for its result release
