We're giving two lucky 12-15 year olds the chance to be the waterboy at the game at Auckland's Vector Arena on Saturday, July 23. If your child is one of the lucky winners, they will:
• Hold the country flags during the opening ceremony
• Rehearse with the players pre-match, sit on the bench during the game and fulfill all the usual 'waterboy' duties
• Receive a personalized team shirt
• Receive two match tickets for their parents or guardians

Terms and Conditions
1) Information on How to Enter and all details on the competition ad form part of these Terms. To the extent of any inconsistency, the Terms below prevail. By entering, readers accept these Terms.
2) Entry is open to NZ residents aged 18 years and over, who are submitting their 12-15 year old child (of whom they must be parent or guardian) to 'be the waterboy'. Anyone employed by (and any immediate family member of someone employed by) APN, associated event organisers and their immediate families and agencies are not permitted to enter. APN is APN New Zealand Limited (and its related companies).
3) Entries close midnight, Monday July 11, 2011. Entrants may only enter once per valid email address. The draw will take place no later than Wednesday, July 13, 2011.
4) The first two randomly drawn entries that meet the 'waterboy' entry requirements (as stated below) will win the opportunity to be the waterboy at the International Ice Hockey match between USA & Canada at Auckland's Vector Arena on July 23.
The Waterboy's experience/duties include but are not limited to:
- Rehearsing with the team pre-match (approx from 3pm)
- Sitting on the bench with players during the game
- Performing general 'waterboy' duties such as filling water bottles, getting equipment from lockers
- Holding the flag during the opening ceremony
- Receiving a personalised team shirt
5)The third and fourth randomly drawn entries will win a runner up prize of 2x tickets to the event on July 23.
6) The requirements of being the 'waterboy' means that the winner(s) must be of reasonable health & fitness that they are able to perform the duties outlined in clause 4 above. There is no requirement for the waterboy to be on skates. If for any reason, the event organisers believe that the drawn winner(s) are not suitable to perform the waterboy duties, the opportunity may be withdrawn, however the winner and their families will still be able to attend the match.
7) All timings and requirements of the 'waterboy' duties are subject to change without notice.
8) All costs, charges and expenses, including, without limitation: transport to the event are the sole responsibility of the winner and their parents/guardians.
9) If any part of the prize is not used, for any reason beyond the organisers' control, no compensation will be awarded to the winner or to his/her guest.
10) Prize is not redeemable for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or part of this prize will result in immediate cancellation of the prize.
11) The prize-winner will be notified by phone. If the prize is not claimed within 2 days of the draw, APN may re-draw a new winner of the prize. APN's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize is non-transferrable.
12) APN is not liable for any loss, damage or injury (including without limitation indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the promotion or any prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13) APN reserves the right to vary these Terms or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion.
14) APN reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry. APN may disqualify any person who tampers with the process or fails to comply with these Terms.
15) Entries become the property of APN. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, APN collects and holds personal information to conduct the promotion, notify prize winners and verify verify prize winners' identities and the information may be used for future promotional activities. Individuals have rights to access and request correction of their personal information held by APN by calling 0800 100 888. Failure to provide all requested personal information might result in the entry being invalid.
16) By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the promoter using his/her details and photographs for promotional and media publicity purposes.
