Win insulation for your rental property Terms and Conditions

1. Information on how to enter and all details on the entry form (web) form part of these Terms. To the extent of any inconsistency, the Terms below prevail. By entering, you accept these Terms.

2. Entry is open to NZ residents, over the age of 18 only. Anyone employed by (and any immediate family member of someone employed by) APN New Zealand Ltd, Right House Limited, Autex Industries Limited, Knauf Insulation Limited and any other agencies associated with these companies or with the promotion and Herald retailers are ineligible to enter. APN is APN New Zealand Limited (and its related companies).

3. Entrants must own no more than two rental properties.

4. The tenants of the property the entrant nominates for insulation must be available as referees for their landlord. Contact details for the entrant's tenant must be provided with the entry.

5. Insulation work must be carried out within two months of the prize being won.

6. The five prizes will each be for ceiling and underfloor insulation, or either ceiling or floor if one area cannot be insulated due to access issues. There will be no compensation if only one area can be insulated.

7. Insulation will cover up to 100sq m (100sq m of ceiling space, plus 100 sq m of underfloor, plus an underfloor vapour barrier if required).

8. Ceiling insulation will be Earthwool provided by Knauf Insulation. Underfloor insulation will be GreenStuf provided by Autex Industries.

9. All expenses, insurance, and all other ancillary costs associated with the prize are the responsibility of the winner.

10. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash and all components of the prize must be taken together. The component parts of the prize must be installed by Right House or its agents in the home owned by the winner.

11. APN New Zealand Ltd, Right House Limited, reserve the right to change any Terms & Conditions without any prior notice.

12. The winner must live in New Zealand.

13. The entrant and their tenants must be willing to be named and photographed for follow-up stories in the Herald on Sunday.

14. Winners will be notified by phone. If the prize is not claimed within 7 days from the draw date APN may re-draw a new winner. APN's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Prize cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or service and no exchange communications will be entered into.

15. Neither APN, Right House Limited, Authority, Autex Industries Limited, Knauf Insulation Limited or any agencies associated with these companies or with the promotion are liable for any loss, damage or injury (including without limitation indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the promotion or any prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

16. All entries are deemed received at the time received into APN's database and NOT at time of transmission by the entrant. APN's records are conclusive as to time of receipt. Late, lost, stolen, misdirected, illegal, incomplete, illegible, damaged, reproduced, or altered entries are invalid. APN is not responsible for such entries nor for any error, technical malfunction, loss, omission, communications delay or failure.

17. APN reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry. APN may disqualify any person who enters a keyword more than once or otherwise tampers with the process or fails to comply with these Terms.

18. Entrants are identified by the email address used to submit the entry. Any prize won by a web entrant will be awarded to the holder of the email address (or that person's parent/guardian) from which that entry was submitted. APN takes no responsibility for disputes resulting from entries submitted using an email address belonging to any other person.

19. Entries become the property of APN. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, APN collects personal information and APN holds personal information to conduct the promotion, notify prize winners, verify prize winners' identities and may be used by APN for future promotional activities, including (where consented to) sending the entrant emails. Individuals have rights to access and request correction of their personal information held by APN (46 Albert St, Auckland City, New Zealand) by calling 0800 100 888. Failure to provide all requested personal information may result in the entry being invalid.

20. APN New Zealand Ltd (APN) is the promoter and it's registered office is located at 46 Albert St, Auckland City. Right House Limited and Black Diamond Technologies Limited, Autex Industries Limited and Knauf Insulation Limited are the prize providers and their respective offices are located at .
