To celebrate Conservation Week and Auckland Zoo's 10th anniversary of Te Wao Nui (its Aotearoa New Zealand Track), the Weekend Herald has an exclusive Te Wao Nui Experience for 4 people to give away.
You'll enjoy a personalised tour (1.5 hours) of Te Wao Nui's six different habitats and learn all about the care and conservation of the species they are home to. Specialist staff will take you behind-the-scenes to see some of Aotearoa's rarest species the Zoo is working to conserve – from frogs, birds, and fish to the mighty wētāpunga and some extraordinary skinks.
Following your tour, you and your three guests will be treated to a complimentary lunch at the Zoo's award-winning café, Te Puna, and afterwards, you're free to explore the rest of the Zoo at your leisure.
