Breville have launched New Zealand's first domestic water oven, the Sous Vide Supreme.
Sous vide, which literally translates to "under vacuum" is a method where you seal the ingredients you wish to cook inside vacuum-pack bags, place the bags inside a temperature-controlled water bath and leave them to cook over a period of time. The result is evenly-cooked, full-flavoured food without the loss of precious juices and nutrients.
