Terms and Conditions - 'Win a 42nd Street Experience' promotion

1. Information on How to Enter and all details on the competition ad form part of these Terms. To the extent of any inconsistency, the Terms below prevail. By entering, readers accept these Terms.

2. Entry is open to NZ residents only. Anyone employed by (and any immediate family member of someone employed by) APN and any agencies associated with these companies or with the promotion are ineligible to enter. APN is APN New Zealand Limited (and its related companies). If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's parent(s) or guardian(s).

3. Entries close 5pm, Monday, September 27, 2010. Readers may enter as many times as they like, each entry will cost 20c. The draw will take place on Wednesday, September 29, 2010.

4. The first entry randomly drawn will win the "Win a VIP 42nd Street Experience' prize package, which is; 1) 2x Premium Reserve tickets to the opening night of 42nd Street at The Civic on Saturday, October 2 at 7.30pm; 2) passes to the VIP post-show function at the Wintergarden Room at The Civic; 3) Souvenir programme and goodie bags; 4) One night's accommodation at The Crowne Plaza Hotel on Saturday, October 2 with breakfast the following morning.

5. Entrants must be 18 years or older. All timings subject to change without notice.

6. All costs, charges and expenses, including, without limitation, transportation, medical expenses, hotel transfers, travel insurance, items of a personal nature, additional meals and beverages, government taxes or levies, laundry, telephone calls, additional nights or room upgrades etc., are the sole responsibility of the winner or his/her guests.

7. If any part of the prize is not used, for any reason beyond the organisers' control, no compensation will be awarded to the winner or to his/her guest.

8. Prize is not redeemable for cash. Any attempt to resell or auction all or part of this prize will result in immediate cancellation of the prize.

9. The prize-winner will be notified by phone. If the prize is not claimed within 2 days of the draw, APN may re-draw a new winner of the prize. APN's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

10. APN is not liable for any loss, damage or injury (including without limitation indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person in connection with the promotion or any prize, except for any liability under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. All entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by APN. APN's records are conclusive as to time of receipt. Late, lost, stolen, misdirected, illegal, incomplete, illegible, damaged, reproduced, or altered entries are invalid. APN is not responsible for such entries nor for any error, technical malfunction, loss, omission, communications delay or failure.

12. APN reserves the right to vary these Terms or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion.

13. APN reserves the right to verify the validity of any entry. APN may disqualify any person who tampers with the process or fails to comply with these Terms.

14. Entries become the property of APN. In accordance with the Privacy Act 1993, APN collects and holds personal information to conduct the promotion, notify prize winners and verify verify prize winners' identities and the information may be used for future promotional activities. Individuals have rights to access and request correction of their personal information held by APN by calling 0800 100 888. Failure to provide all requested personal information might result in the entry being invalid.

15. By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the promoter using his/her details and photographs for promotional and media publicity purposes.
